Have Yourself a Tester Little Christmas (Tree)

The family and I went to Helena's Festival Of Trees today, along with most of the rest of the town. It is a benefit for a really great cause, Intermountain Children's Home.

The idea here is that people and businesses decorate 'tree packages' and they are put up for auction. The big tree's are auctioned early in the week and can go for as much as $8000. I say 'tree package' because it is usually more than just a tree but a whole themed 'area'. Often there are gifts or furniture included.

The smaller trees and wreaths are part of a silent auction. They usually go for a few hundred. All in all it is a great deal for the kids and the bidders who get to take these great trees home with them. I saw Cece, she was bidding on a few of the small trees for her office.

That is not what I am here to tell you about though. I am here to tell you about the tree below.

Isn't that awesome? I am not sure if you can tell, but the Christmas tree has a flattop. Included in the packages? 10 flat top haircuts from a local barber. The name of the tree? I am Jon Tester and I approve this tree. Classic.

Take it from a Texan, you folks are lucky to have this man as your senator. I was really happy to see Burns get dumped after watching the debate. There was only one clear choice. Congrats!

Willis,

The whole world is taking it from a Texan, everyday. Without even having the courtesy of a ***********.

Heh. I crack me up! Thanks for the kind words. The whole country will benefit from it.

Yea, I know. Its tough being "blue" down here. I had to watch other state races for hope, we're stuck on stupid here mostly. On the positive, Texas did contribute Molly Ivins, Ann Richards, Bill Moyers and Stevie Ray!
All the Best!
