Great Falls On Criminal Minds?

Criminal Minds is a show on CBS that follows a group FBI profiling types as they travel around the country. They fly in a jet from town to town solving crimes too tough for the local yokels.

Tonights episode was set in Great Falls Montana. Sort of. Great Falls was a one store town and the landscape looked a lot like the hills of southern California. Here is the episode description:
When one half of a serial-killing duo commits suicide, the team must identify and find the other killer, who has abducted his next victim. Francis Goehring: Michael Cudlitz. Sheriff Williams: Jim Beaver. Henry Frost: Kaj-Erik Eriksen. Harris Townsend: Pat Skipper.

As you can imagine, the episode centers around the militia, minute-men types and there was a lot of talk about Ruby Ridge. All in all, very disappointing but typical.

I was very disapointed in the episode. I did not like how they cateragorized everyone from Montana as pistal packing lunatics.

Agreed, it was so disappointing. I grew up in Great Falls and when I heard CM was going there, I thought it would be fun to see how much I could recognize. But nothing looked like Great Falls at all. They should have used an imaginary name, since they were portrayng an imaginary place....
