Tester Interview With Newsweek

There is a very good interview with Tester in Newsweek. You should read the whole interview, but I want to highlight one question:

The Burns campaign declined NEWSWEEK'S request for an interview. When we told them that you had agreed to chat, Burns' campaign spokesperson said, "He has time to talk, because he's just sitting up on his farm."

I'm getting around the state. I'm like a lot of other people in the state that Conrad has lost touch with. I have to make a living.

I find it amazing that even in the process of declining an interview, the Burns campaign could not turn down the opportunity to take a pot shot. A simple playground insult. Jon hit the right spot back though when he said I'm like a lot of other people in the state that Conrad has lost touch with. I have to make a living.

How do you folk think Tester did in the interview? I am interested to see.

Well, the NRSC already took their potshots at his weight with the biscuit wheels so Burns had to make up some kind of lie.
