OK, OK, OK... And Exhale

w00t! I can breath again! Jon Tester has been declared the next senator of the great state of Montana! Good work everyone, with such a close race, everyone of us can claim that we had a big hand in this. Conrad Burns has not conceded yet (or made any sort of statement), but the margin is too high for a recount.

Webb is looking pretty good, but it is likely that Allen will draw this out.

The US House is now strongly democratic.

Voters here have approved the minimum wage hike.

We did good here people. As a country and as a state. OK, now we can start 'living' again.

First time I voted against ol' Conrad was back in '88. This has been a long time coming. I don't have the words in me to express my appreciation for the hard work so many, including yourself did this year. thanks and thanks and....

No Eric, all of my local candidates were elected in landslide victories against their republican opponents. (Caferro, Kaufman etc). Do you wish that you had spent more time in the primaries supporting a senate candidate that could beat Tester?

I think we really have Silver-bow to thank here for the victory. It went huge for Tester... we should just be happy that yellowstone and gallatine broke pretty even.
it's been a great three days.

Wow! A dem can barely beat a corrupt politician.....It is almost laughable... Really....if Tester is the best they could come you libs are in trouble.

Oh? I think that there is some truth to what you are saying there Eric. However, my local candidates won. I think that the state dems need to put more work into recruiting candidates for some areas. For instance, Windham is a horrible candidate for lake county. So, we got Rick Jore. It is an important issue and one that we will have to do better on next time.
